About Us
From being a very young child I knew I was different. I couldn’t find a place to fit in with most people. It wasn’t until I was a teenager that was I told I was “connected” to spirit. I had it explained a little to me and I realised that’s why I was so different from anyone else I knew.
I’ve always been lucky enough to “see, hear, smell and feel spirit around me”
I had a near death experience in my 20s and I believe that made my connection even deeper.
I was part of the spiritual community for a few years but again I never really fitted in there either. That’s when I realised, I was a practicing witch.
I’ve read tarot cards for 30 years and always been so connected to nature. My empathy for all people, animals and the planet sometimes has been so deep it’s been a detriment to myself. These days I’ve taught myself how to help others whilst still looking after myself.
My passions for animals, the planet and also vulnerable humans is still very much there and a major part of who I am as a person.
In February 2024 I decided I wanted to make candles. I had a few practices with my friends but then decided to take it seriously. I sat down with my husband and discussed with him how I wanted to make intention candles but that I wanted to do it as environmentally friendly as possible. I spent weeks researching the best wax to use for both sustainability and also scent throw. I eventually came across a company who uses soy wax which is grown and processed in the UK. This not only helps local farmers, the carbon footprint but also doesn’t contain any nasty bulking ingredients like palm oil! Being so passionate about the planet, I wanted to know we wasn’t adding to the devastation of the deforestation.
This wax is something I’m very proud of finding.
We then also found a company in Peterborough who manufactures fragrance oils. Again, trying to keep the carbon footprint down whilst using small independent companies. All our fragrance oils are vegan and cruelty free on top of also smelling absolutely amazing.
I decided to use tins for our candles because they can be recycled, or returned to us so we can make more candles in them for you.
All other vessels we use are also recyclable or they can be refilled. We will be selling refill packs of our items.
If it wasn’t for my husband’s love and support along with my friends, this dream of owning a witchy business would’ve never come to fruition.
